This animation is intended to be a humorous eCard to share with family and friends. The kind of event that was chosen was a wedding, inspired by my cousin's recent marriage on August 4th. The brief for this project said we could choose any holiday we wanted and showed a variety of holidays for almost every day of the year. In doing this research, I found out my cousin's wedding day was the same day as International Beer Day and National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. So the eCard was framed as a sort of "fun fact for your wedding day" with a bit of humor and playfulness to it. Narration was done by myself using music and sound effects to add to the humorous, light-hearted feel that was intended for the animation. The motion of the piece is intentionally choppy and rough, but still meant to be fun and loose.
